If you’re looking for a place where music comes alive, you’ll find it with Doug at Bloor West Music Studios. Doug’s love for teaching and inspiring students shines through everything he does. With a music degree in classical guitar and music theory from the University of Toronto, he brings both expertise and passion to every lesson.


Many of Doug’s students have gone on to earn their own music degrees, become teachers, compose their own pieces, or even start their own rock bands. Whether you’re into Progressive Rock, Classical, or just want to have fun making music, Doug’s enthusiasm is contagious! Since the 1990s, he’s been showing students how exciting it is to play in a rock band, helping them learn, grow, and rock out together.
