Private Lessons with Eric P
Eric P

Eric Parra is a Toronto‑based musician and York University graduate who brings energy, curiosity, and real‑world experience into every lesson. With years of performing across the city—from iconic jazz clubs like The Rex to vibrant venues like Reid’s Distillery—Eric has played in everything from intimate small groups to full big bands. He’s performed with the Toronto All‑Star Big Band, the York University Jazz Orchestra, and was selected for the 2025 Jazz Musician Intensive Ensemble.
As a teacher, Eric works with students on alto saxophone, clarinet, flute, recorder, and piano. He loves helping learners of all ages discover their sound, build confidence, and enjoy the process of making music. Whether you’re picking up an instrument for the very first time or looking to level up your skills, Eric brings patience, encouragement, and a performer’s insight to every lesson.
He also leads his own tribute projects inspired by his favourite saxophone legends—so you’ll always get a teacher who’s genuinely excited about music and eager to share that passion. Eric hopes to inspire the next generation of players while continuing to make his mark on Toronto’s vibrant jazz scene.
