Julian is a vibrant Toronto-based musician with a flair for both creativity and professionalism. Currently pursuing his degree in Jazz Performance at the University of Toronto, Julian specializes in guitar and brings a wealth of musical knowledge to every endeavour. While his academic focus is jazz, his passion for music spans all genres, and he performs regularly with the Toronto Indie/Shoegaze band, Next Week’s Washing.

Julian’s infectious enthusiasm, combined with five years of experience as a camp counsellor, makes him an outstanding instructor who delights in teaching students of all ages and musical backgrounds. Whether you're interested in learning rock, pop, classical, or jazz, Julian’s fun-loving approach and expert guidance promise an engaging musical journey!

As a former student of Bloor West Music Studios, where he began his musical journey in 2015, Julian knows the school’s welcoming atmosphere and teaching philosophy inside out. He is committed to inspiring a genuine love of music in his students, understanding the importance of making each lesson enjoyable. Julian draws on his own experiences as a learner—recalling practice routines and teaching strategies that motivated him—to create lessons that are both effective and fun. With his dynamic teaching style and deep respect for every student’s unique musical path, Julian is dedicated to helping learners feel confident, excited, and truly valued every week.
